Marina Testino Changing The World.

Marina Testino, she is more than just an "It" girl, I really admire her not only for her passion for fashion but for her desire to help the environment at the same time. She has created various challenges such as #OneDressToImpress and #YellowLikeA🍋 , where she is raising awareness on conscious consumerism.

#OneDressToImpress consist of her wearing the same red suit for 2 months, changing the way society thinks of "you can not repeat an outfit", bring awareness to our society's attitude towards consumerism and waste. She mixes and matches different accessories for different events sharing it in her Instagram @marinatestino.

#YellowLikeALemon consists of wearing yellow pieces for a month that encapsulates the four s's of sustainable fashion: Simplify, Share, Sustainably sourced and Secondary market. The yellow pieces she got them from vintage stores, things she already got or buying them from sustainable small business.

I think it is a very cool and fun way to help the environment, at the same time wearing awesome outfits and shifting the beauty and fashion industry from unsustainable "linear economy" to a sustainable, "circular economy".
